We are having a dresscode, yup : BATIK !
It was an ordinary day on college, nggak ada moment khusus, nggak ada wisuda apalagi kondangan…we decide to wear batik every particular day. Not because BATIK is so HIP right now, or seems like there is an indication that our neighbour country wanna claim that BATIK is their culture.
“But, it just: We want to cultivate our love towards our own culture.”
Its shameful if we dont wear, or even recognize our own culture. Coba deh lihat orang-orang India yang bangga banget sama baju sari-nya, atau orang Arab dengan baju gamis dan sorban khas-nya, Japanese with their kimono, ….. they are using it as their daily couture!
Maybe wearing koteka or rumbai-rumbai jerami ala papua to campus will be so frontal, then wear BATIK instead

Heee, tak pikir itu rombongan yang mau nonton super soulmate show, kan pada pake batik tuh. Batik gerah nggak sih..? since I always wonder tht wearing batik is like a shiny batik yang didalemnya harus dikasih lapisan kaen lagi.
Eh tapi aku punya celana kolor batik, apa itu aja ya dipake kerja..?
