Oh yeah, we know that girls love pink. If we had a newly born niece, what came through our head was buying a present with a pink color. And here here. . . a long time ago when me and my mom were shopping apparel for a niece-newly born present, all of the things the sales person suggested were in a pink! I asked for a black but it doesn’t exist. Maybe parents all over the world were too afraid for a having gothic looks infant. They rather show a cute-little-pretty image one.
Anyway, yesterday I caught my girl friend (my friend which is a girl) wearing pink all over.
I said: “Hey you look so. .Errr, . .what should I say . . .PINK!”
From the top to toe, the hijab, the bag, the laptop, the mouse, the wallet, the accessories, all in pink. . as pink as it seems in the picture.
If a girl looks normal wearing pink, how about a guy wears pink?
There’s millions opinion out there regarding this. As I am so curious, I happened to ask several of my friends. One said: a Guy should not wearing pink, as he would looks feminine. In the contrary, another friend of me ever said: a Guy wearing pink must be a macho guy, since he confidents with his ‘orientation’. Soon I reply : how about when you go to his room and find every single stuff in pink as well? pink sheet, hello kitty curtain, pink dress and other pink? he must be Rambo ! 
If we think deeply, pink is just a color. It’s a mix between red and white. How pink can be synonymous with a girly-feminine thingy is nothing but a people’s perception. It’s a culture and image that has been set by our ancestor long time ago. Pink is equal to light blue, grey, light brown and every dark colors mix with white. Everyone is having their right to wear any colors they like.
But eventually now shall we believe that colors having a characteristic that somehow represent the personality, character of its user. That again is set by our culture-Black for mourning, white for clean, blue for boys and so on.
Oh well personally I don’t mind wearing pink (even though I don’t have one), and never bother with other guy wearing pink.

huwaaaa ternyata uda banyak postingan dsini… anw i hate pink! tapi dulu d kampusku ada yang dijuluki lady pink… dari jilbab, hp, pulpen, kotak pensil, sepatu, kaos kaki, tas, pin, anting2, jam tangan… semuanya serba pink. ah, pink laknat!

btw… baby itu memang identiknya ama biru ato pink ya? klo cowo pasti dibeliin serba blue… kalo cewe dibeliin serba pink…
itulah stereotyping.
memang stereotype jadi membuat kita judgmental ya?
padahal itu kan cuma sugesti.

PINK is cute! I’m dying for a pink laptop and pink digital camera.
But I’m not sure about wearing pink all over from head to toe… errr… that’s just a bit too much
