Back several months ago, I found one of Benny & Mice series (100 Tokoh Mewarnai Jakarta) on my friend’s living room. The cover was comically eye catching (Yes I’m a cover oriented). Randomly I opened and read it page by page, I laughed instantly! The most spontaneous and stomached-muscle pain induced laugh I’ve ever had in weeks!
Sumpah nih buku kocak abis, thanks to Randy that eventually lend me his collection. Benny & Mice were successfully made a very honest picture of Jakarta’s life. It’s a cartoon form which you can see a satire comical figure of Ibu-ibu pejabat yang gila belanja, mas-mas Mangga dua, sampai para ABG korban mode. Perharps we can see ourselves as one of the victim figured by Benny & Mice.
I love love fall in love with this book. I was NEVER ever in my live having an interest with comic, but this is not a comic, this is Benny & Mice! A must Read for you, THE BOOK-comic that might cultivating your sense of humor, creativity, and colored your life.
Now at last I complete my Benny & Mice collection:
Lagak Jakarta-Edisi Koleksi, a little bit expensive for a stingy buyer (like me) but definitely worth it

Hahaha I got this book 100 Tokoh Yang Mewarnai Jakarta, right at its first launch with a poster as a bonus. I agree with you, kocak abisss, I didn’t stop reading until I got to its last page.

Awalnya… aku cuma liat aja buku ini… pingin beli… tapi koq mahal (I categorised it as comic book… hehehe… based on the time I’m gonna finished reading it)
And My family loves it.. hehe…
AdikQ g membiarkanQ membaca buku itu sendiri, jadi deh kita duduk side by side and mbaca bersama… huahaha… Kasihan banget ya kita
